My ModernQAL block

This is my first block in the Modern Quilt-a-long. Easy enough to do. I've also joined And sew we craft's' fat quarter swap. Swap hasn't officially started yet so there might still be time to enter.
I've been cleaning and purging my sewing room/studio these last few days and it feels good. I've managed to slash my stash by 50% and it feels there is so much more room in there. No after photos just yet. It still feels like a bomb has hit it. Hopefully next weekend I can do a big reveal.

Good morning!! Here I am finally starting my new blog on my laptop. The laptop is a ten year project meaning that I've been asking for that long for one as a present and now I've finally have one!! Yippee for me!! I'm hopnig this will be about what's going on in my life and the projects I am making. You see, I'm a quilter....yes, tragic I know but I love fabric, feeling it, touching it and fondling it.
